Reporting to the Director of Brand Management, the Associate Brand Marketing Manager Trainee will assist with both developing the overall brand vision and strategy, as well as executing onsite promotional brand events. This position will train from an entry level role to an executive role, that oversees the development and execution of our client's brand development strategies.

Associate Brand Marketing Manager Trainee will assist in the development and evolution of the brand, product portfolio, and overall strategy while maintaining focus on the day-to-day activities relating to brand management. The selected candidates will train with the Marketing Brand Managers on the development and implementation of our client's brand strategies, as well as key product displays and consumer messages to merchandise S/he will be responsible for learning to analyze brand, category and product-level performance metrics, making recommendations and utilizing all of our available resources to deliver top notch results for our clients and retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

The Associate Brand Marketing Manager Trainee's key responsibilities:

· Brand/product and merchandise performance; providing guidance to newer trainees and feedback to upper management

· Assess trends, competitors, and opportunities to drive brand strategy and uses data to inform prospective consumers, retail partners and marketing approach.

· Assist Brand Managers with the creation of various small scale, short term events in the local area

· Participation in training and strategy meetings at our local office

· Assist with mild inventory management

· Customer, press, and consumer demonstrations: Comfortable presenting to small and large audience.

Preferred Skill Sets:

· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sociology, Phycology or related field preferred but not required

· 0-5 years- experience in Marketing, Business, PR/ Communications, Customer Service, Management, Retail, Military, Restaurant, Bartending, Sales, Promotions or Events preferred but not required

To be successful in this role, the selected candidates must have an eagerness to learn and grow with a fast-growing local start-up. We need three to five entry level trainees who can hit the ground running immediately to meet and keep up with our client demand. S/he will need to be a strong communicator (verbal/written) and be motivated by moving into a management role as quickly as possible
