Home/Field Based (covering the M1 and A1 corridor between Newcastle and Leicester)

Premium Credit is the leading insurance premium finance company in the UK and Ireland. This opportunity lies within our New Markets team, which focusses on Independent Schools, Golf Clubs and Accountants, wherein our services enable customers to pay annual fees, in affordable monthly instalments. As such, we are looking for a Field Sales Manager to grow our customer base in the North-East of England.

You'll need to be comfortable working to cumulative multi-million pound targets where new opportunities will need to be added on top of existing and maintained business. The realistic new business requirement will come to fruition through a structured and supported business model which is tried and tested to produce results.

As a Field Sales Manager, you'll increase Premium Credit's customer base and provide a world-class service to customers.

In this fast-moving role, you'll work with an established customer base and be responsible for creating further opportunities. Supported by our Marketing Team, you'll receive some qualified leads and referrals so you can focus on building and deepening relationships, as well as closing sales. You'll still need to be strong in diary management and chasing down your own leads, as well as excited to work in an environment that offers high challenge and high support.

As part of your role, you'll be required to visit our Head Office in Leatherhead on occasion.

Additionally, your duties will involve:

- Promoting the benefits of Premium Credit's product range
- Maximising business potential across our full suite of products
- Ensuring that customer credit approval procedures are completed
- Reporting on regional sales activity

Think you're up to the challenge? To be considered, you will need:

- B2B2C or Intermediary sales experience
- Field sales or business development experience
- Proven business development skills, including obtaining referrals, diary management, customer contact, presenting and closing
- A strong financial and/or commercial background
- A full, valid driving licence

As the Field Sales Manager, you'll be an ambitious self-starter with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Customer-focused and inquisitive, you'll also be able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels.
