Job Title: Food & Beverage Team LeaderLocation: London SW15Salary: £20,200Job Type: Full Time Contract - 40 hours per week. 5 days over a 7 day rotaClosing date: Friday 1st November 2017The Organisation is one of London's premier private members multisport clubs. They offer a wide range of sports including Golf, tennis, Health Club and Squash and a wide catering provision, delivered to the highest standards of quality. Significant investment is being made to enhance the standards across the club with the goal of achieving excellence in all areas. The club's six catering outlets include events, carvery and retail style outlets.The role of F&B Team Leader is to support the F&B Supervisor by overseeing the Club Café, Juice Bar and Banqueting staff when necessary. To assist in achieving Food and Beverage revenue, profitability and members satisfaction through the department. Co-operating and performing to the optimum best potential on an everyday basis.Key Responsibilities:Assist supervisor in the supervision of the Club Café, Juice Bar, Sunday Carvery, Social events and match teas.To deputise for the F&B Supervisors in their absenceTo implement the set-up and refresh when necessary the Club Café, Juice Bar, Members Bar and banqueting rooms and any other public areas as deemed necessaryTo be able serve Food and Beverage and contribute to upselling whenever possibleTo cover in any areas within the F&B department if requestedTo be able to efficiently open or close any areas within F&B DepartmentTo be able accurately and efficiently cash up in all F&B areasAssist supervisors in providing training to new startersTrain and induct new staff in Club service and safety standards as well as hygiene regulationsTo handle cash and take payments for goods in accordance with Club proceduresTo support supervisors with the ordering within the departmentHelp the supervisor to meets H&S and F&S requirements at all timesMaintaining and overseeing cleaning duties in F&B areasEnsuring efficient delivery of any other tasks reasonably requested by the F & B Supervisor or F&B ManagementGood customer care skills including respecting internal and external customers and being a role model within the teamUnderstanding of current legislation in regard to Health & Safety and hygieneWhilst full training will be given, the successful candidate must be able to offer the following key criteria: Experience of working in a similar F&B environment for at least 1 year with references available from employers recognised for their high quality standardsProven history of: high working output, producing work of the highest quality standard, being a positive member of a large professional catering team and possessing a strong desire to be the bestProfessionally well groomedGood time management skillsWilling to work as part of a team, whilst using own initiative when requiredThorough understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene practices at workPlease click the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.Candidates with the experience or relevant job titles of; Food and Beverage Supervisor, Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Senior Waiter, Senior Waitress, Bar Tender, Serving Assistant, Catering Assistant, General Assistant, Food and Beverage Staff, Hotel, Bar, Restaurant will also be considered for this role.
